Privacy Matters: How Logger Keeps Your Data Safe

Logger Technical Team·

Logger is designed to help families coordinate care while keeping personal information secure and protected.

Your data is encrypted and securely stored.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards. This helps ensure your information is protected both when it is being transmitted and when it is stored.

Access is strictly controlled.
We use row-level database security to ensure that only the people you explicitly invite to your care circle can access your data. No one else can view your information.

All activity is tracked for accountability.
Every action within Logger is recorded in an immutable audit trail, providing transparency and an added layer of security.

Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
We do not sell, share, or use your health information for advertising purposes. Logger is built to support families, not monetize personal data.

Files and attachments are kept private.
Any uploaded files are stored securely and can only be accessed through time-limited, secure links. They are never publicly accessible.

We only collect what is necessary for care.
To help coordinate care accurately, we store basic information such as a name or nickname and date of birth. We do not collect Social Security numbers, insurance information, or financial data.

You remain in control of your data.
You choose who has access to your loved one’s information and can update or remove access at any time.

You can request full data deletion at any time.
If you choose to stop using Logger, you can request permanent deletion of your data.

What This Means for You

All of that technology is there for one simple reason: to give you peace of mind.

It means you can use Logger without worrying about who might see your information. Only the people you invite, like family members or trusted caregivers, can access it.

It means your notes, updates, and records are safe. They are not being shared, sold, or used in ways you did not agree to.

It means when you upload a document or track a medication, that information stays private and protected behind secure systems designed to keep it that way.

It also means you stay in control. You decide who has access. You can remove people at any time. And if you ever choose to stop using Logger, you can request that your data be completely deleted.

Most importantly, it means you can focus on what actually matters. Taking care of your loved one.

You should not have to think about security while you are managing care. We have already done that for you.
